February 9th, 2026 General Monthly Meeting
February’s General Membership meeting will be held on Monday, February 09, 2026, beginning at 6:30 pm.
The meeting will be a HYBRID meeting, accessible via Zoom and in person, at the DEC Office in Lakeland. We will elect a DEC Secretary and a State Committee Person (female/non-binary) at the meeting.
Candidate for Dundee City Commission Seat 3, Alethea Pugh, will be our first guest speaker and discuss her campaign and volunteer opportunities.
Our second guest speaker, Lekia Johnson, is running for Seat 2 on the Haines City Commission in the April 7th municipal elections. Lekia will share her platform and discuss ways to work with her campaign.
