Transformative Justice Coalition is leading the May 8 National John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Action Day with partnership of several organizations to demand the passage of the For the People Act, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and D.C. Statehood and to address one of the greatest obstacles to the passage of civil and voting rights – and one of the last vestiges of slavery – the filibuster!
Barbara Harris, President of the Northeast Polk Democratic Club, is leading our efforts to organize a Votercade in Haines City inline with the May 8th John Lewis Action Day.
We are reaching out to you to inform and also find out if your club or caucus would be interested in joining the Votercade in Haines City for a bigger presence.
