Monster Food Drive @ Solivita Freedom Park
Apr 3 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Due to the latest cruel cuts by the current president and his minions, Second Harvest of Central Florida, which is our conduit for food from the USDA programs, was ordered to halt shipment of 4 tractor trailer loads of food to our area this week.  We believe this may continue and are in need of help to fill the shelves of both St. Rose and St.Ann’s pantries.

Our two pantries distribute food to over 130,000 people in our region a year, all done with volunteers and donations.

Solivita Dems have supported St. Rose Pantry for many years and we are grateful. Please help us once again!

The Polk DEC have invited and hope to host all three of the people who are running for Haines City Commissioner Seat 5. We have invited Mr. Horace West, Edwin Perez & Anne Huffman. We are hoping that they are all available, but we wanted this to go out asap, so we will update this as we receive word from the prospective candidates as to their attendance.

We will then have our business meeting after the question & answer session.
