U.S. Representative Darren Soto (D-FL09) will host a town hall in the Winter Haven City Commissioners’ Chambers that will focus on Senior Issues and the future of Social Security and Medicare.
His guest will be ranking member of the House Social Security Subcommittee, Rep. John Larson (D-CT01). He recently held a hearing on the Future of the Social Security Number.
Social Security Isn’t an Entitlement — Social Security is our nation’s most successful insurance program. For 80+ years, Social Security has been a promise to all Americans that they would have a chance to retire with dignity after a lifetime of hard work.
Larson celebrated a new, Bipartisan Law Protecting Vulnerable Social Security Beneficiaries with Disability Rights in Connecticut on May 7.
