Citizens from across Polk county will meet at Central Park in Winter Haven and participate in a coordinated effort called “The National Day of Protest”. Bring your signs, listen to community leaders as they lead us in calls for action and fight for democracy.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate.
If you can’t stand in protest, bring a seat.
If you can’t yell in anger, hold a sign.
If you’re afraid to protest, come stand next to me for support.

The mission of the DPECF is to advocate for better public education policies by educating voters through data-driven messaging, challenging false narratives, and helping elect pro-public education candidates to local, state and federal offices.
The DPECF believes that public schools should be the pillars in communities that help families thrive and where children learn the knowledge and skills necessary to become members of our society and economy.
