The Leadership Blue Convention is FREE to attend and to participate in.Educational and working sessions are held throughout Saturday. Various Statewide Caucuses and Committees develop their platforms, plans and rules during these sessions. If you want to know how the FDP works you should attend these sessions in person. COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.

Representative Colleen Burton, Chair Designate of the Polk County Legislative Delegation, has announced that a Legislative Delegation meeting will be held on October 26, from 1:30 pm – 6:00 pm, at the Center for Public Safety Building, 1251 Jim Keene Blvd., Winter Haven.
The annual public meeting is an opportunity for citizens, elected county and city officials and members of civic organizations to address the delegation before the 2022 state legislative session begins.
We have been advised that those interested in speaking before the delegation will have a chance to register starting Oct. 1.
Our Guest speakers for November will be. Lori Edwards, Polk County Supervisor of Elections, AND Lita Epstein, SDC Member and Chair of the Solivita CDD Board.
This meeting will be held in person in the Solivita Starlite Ballroom, as well as on Zoom. Members will be emailed a link prior to the meeting. All others wishing to attend via Zoom are asked to email President Brian Fillette at the email address above.
There will be no Zoom for this meeting.
We will recognize the hard work and great efforts of our members and celebrate the first year of the Biden/Harris Administration.
Food and beverages will be provided for our members. There will be no external speakers, the Board will review our accomplishments of 2021 and member appreciation awards will be presented.
