The FDP and Harris for Florida team will be hosting a Poll Greeter Online Training Session

Poll Greeter Training
Thursday, October 17 at 8pm ET

Register Here

This training will educate volunteers on the legal guidelines of poll greeting and to identify and report instances of voter intimidation, misinformation, and other threats to voting.

As early voting begins next week, millions of Americans will start to head to the polls and we recognize the importance of welcoming them while encouraging them to participate in this historical election. This informational will equip volunteers on how to welcome Floridians at the polls while maintaining legal compliance and helping to ensure that all eligible voters are able to cast their ballots.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact partyaffairs@floridadems.org or steven@floridadems.org.

CFX listened to SCAR’s concerns and will be incorporating our
concerns in the new Projected Development Study. These include:
1. Widening the local lanes of Cypress Parkway to three lanes to alleviate congestion on the local roads.
2. Incorporating alternatives to the “Great Wall” of Poinciana by including bridge designs as part of the planning to minimize the division of the community.
3. Including a community impact study as part of the new Project Development Study.

4. Doing sound studies to determine current sound levels and plan for sound walls at ground levels as well as along the elevated portion of the roadway to minimize the impact from noise.
5. Studying issues of increased pollutants to measure current and projected levels.
