IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT WE DEMAND ANY WIDENING OF CYPRESS PARKWAY PRESERVE THE CURRENT GREENSPACE BETWEEN THE ROAD AND SOLIVITA AS WELL AS THE INCLUSION OF A SOUND BARRIER WALL ALONG THE PARKWAY.
The main meeting initiating approval of the project will be held in April or May. There, we will see the design work. However, before this project is completely designed and approved, we have the opportunity to view the preliminary information being presented on March 30th thru a Zoom Meeting.
We must make our desires known NOW, and we must show up in large numbers, both at the March 30th Zoom meeting and the actual Commissioner’s Meeting being held in April or May. We will advise you when the April/May meeting is scheduled.

Our special guest and featured speaker will be Rep. Val Demings, US Congressional District 10. She was an Impeachment Manager for the FIRST Trump impeachment. She is is a lifelong public servant who broke numerous glass ceilings in her rise through the Orlando Police Department and her election to Congress.
She was an Impeachment Manager for the firstimpeachment of Donald Trump.

Transformative Justice Coalition is leading the May 8 National John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Action Day with partnership of several organizations to demand the passage of the For the People Act, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and D.C. Statehood and to address one of the greatest obstacles to the passage of civil and voting rights – and one of the last vestiges of slavery – the filibuster!
Barbara Harris, President of the Northeast Polk Democratic Club, is leading our efforts to organize a Votercade in Haines City inline with the May 8th John Lewis Action Day.
We are reaching out to you to inform and also find out if your club or caucus would be interested in joining the Votercade in Haines City for a bigger presence.
