fabulous holiday shopping for charity at the huge silent auction, which will be available all
evening. Gather your friends and book your table now.
100% of the proceeds are invested locally in St.Rose of Lima Food Pantry, the charity on the
front line of poverty’s cruel intrusion into the lives of so many hard working families in our
neighborhood. We have the privilege of helping support their work and have fun doing it!
Proceeds from the event go directly to St. Rose of Lime Food Pantry and are non-refundable.

Due to Veterans Day, the Polk County Commissioners’ Building is closed. We are holding THIS DEC meeting at our Lakeland Headquarters auxiliary office.
We will be electing members to our 2020 Solivita Democratic Club Board of Directors.
Nominations may be placed from the floor.

The Polk County Democratic Executive Committee is pleased to announce they will be hosting a 2020 DNC Convention Preview for all Democrats in Congressional Districts 9, 15, and 17.
Craig T. Smith, who has more than 30 years in the political field will be our speaker. Craig served with then-Governor Bill Clinton in several different capacities, to become the first employee of the Clinton for President Exploratory Campaign in 1991. After Clinton’s election, Smith became the Political Director of the Democratic National Committee. Smith served in the White House until 1999, when he became the Campaign Manager for Vice President Al Gore. Smith went on to serve as Senior Advisor for the Ready for Hillary Super PAC and helped lay the groundwork for her 2015 Hillary For America Campaign. He currently serves as President of CTSGP, Inc., a political consulting firm he founded in 2013.
Craig will be explaining who is eligible to be a delegate to the national convention and how the delegates will be elected. If you are even thinking about going to the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee, WI, July 13 – 16, 2020, please join us for a very informative afternoon. Refreshments will be served.
SDC member, Ellis Moose, who was an elected Hillary Clinton delegate to the 2016 National Convention in Philadelphia is also expected to attend to answer your questions.
